Bistro 108 started with Susan Kuehler. Over twenty years ago she opened Bistro 108 as a place for not only quality food, but quality connections. Their very own tagline for the restaurant reads "Where Old Friends Meet & New Ones are Made." Susan knew the best was to accomplish community was with food and over two decades of serving delicious food has proven her right. Over the years the restaurant and Susan have changed. Susan married Mike McCathern, who is now her close business partner for Bistro 108. Together they own three businesses including Bistro 108, Celebrations Events & Catering as well as Vin 114. Susan, as executive Chef, keeps their dishes at the finest quality possible while Mike helps keep a quality business. They both have that dedication to community as well as a vision for quality and service.
The menu of Bistro 108 is small, but every item has been crafted to culinary perfection. They offer three menus total including the Dinner Menu, the Lunch Menu, and the Early Bird Specials Menu. Looking over the Dinner menu guests can expect exceptionally fresh dishes. Among their Small Bites section their are dishes like Shrimp & Crawfish Bisque, Soup of the Day, Warm Brie, Fried Portobello Mushrooms, Fried Ravioli, Crispy Calamari, Mussels, and Crab-Shrimp Cakes. Their salads include options like Caesar, Field Green, Classic Wedge, Salmon, Bistro, Cobb, and Fried Chicken Tender. Their entrees, which are served with the soup of the day or a green garden salad, include Pasa Primavera, Shrimp Scampi, Pecan Crusted Chicken Breasts, Chicken & Mushrooms, Shrimp (Fried, Blackened or Sauteed), Salmon Provencal, Pork Tenderloin Schnitzel, Rib Eye, and Beef Tenderloin Filet.
Guests can visit Bistro 108 Tuesday through Saturday for lunch from 11 am to 2 pm. For dinner the hours are Thursday through Saturday from 5 pm to 9 pm. Guests can even get early bird specials for dinner from 5pm to 6pm on those days. The sense of community along with the love and care put into every dish makes Bistro 108 the perfect way to top off any vacation.
